The ENT & Head & Neck Surgery Department offers comprehensive care for all medical conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head and neck. The department has highly experienced doctors, state of the art operation theatre and latest equipments to provide advanced treatment for the full range of medical and surgical services. Patients suffering from conditions like deafness, ear discharge, giddiness / vertigo, ear infections, nose bleeding, sinus infections, tonsil infections, voice change, diseases of the thyroid and patients with head and neck cancer, as well as those having difficulty swallowing, breathing difficulties, snoring and headaches can get them treated at the hands of efficient professionals here.
Apart from routine ENT surgical services, department provides advanced endoscopic sinus surgeries, optic nerve decompression, endoscopic ear surgeries, coblation surgeries for airway pathologies, thyroid surgeries and skull base surgeries. The Outpatient department is well equipped with latest equipments including transnasal esophagoscope for the early diagnosis of the diseases. Dr. Padmanabhan is a Senior ENT Consultant with expertise in several fields in ENT, especially in ear diseases and voice disorders. He has brought to Baby Memorial Hospital his wealth of experience over 24 years, striking a perfect balance between surgical skill and academic qualifications. His experience in treatment is evident in his minimal use of medicines like antibiotics for many ENT conditions. His vast experience brings a level of expertise which is unmatched due to the variety of cases that he has dealt with till now.
Dr Padmanabhan’s range of services include skill sets and expertise which are not seen in other ENT doctors. He is a certified voice specialist, the first such specialist in Kannur, having trained under renowned laryngologist Dr. Jayakumar Menon.
