Maj. Beena C. A. (Retd)
As Chief of the Nursing Department, Maj. Beena C. A. (Retd) is in charge of planning, development and administration of nursing services at Baby Memorial Hospital. With her vast experience in nursing, she manages the recruitment, training and retention of nurses at BMH, and coordinates with the hospital management and heads of various departments before taking the call on matters relating to nurses and customer care.
Maj. Beena came with 25 years of nursing experience in various capacities ranging from Junior Nursing Officer to Administrator in various military and corporate hospitals
Before joining BMH, Maj. Beena was the Chief Nursing officer at DM WIMS Medical College Hospital, Wayanad and Aster Super Speciality Hospital Wayanad.
She hold MSc in Nursing, MBA in Hospital Administration and is a certified faculty for Emergency Nursing Certification from Alfred Monash University, Australia and quality health care mangement from AHPI. She has been a resource person for Institutional and State level nursing conferences.
